Career

A professional career built alongside the businesses.

My work with RAMS Skilled Trades is an important chapter in my development. It is not the entirety of who I am, but it has had a real influence on how I think about people, operations, relationships, safety, and business development.

RAMS Skilled Trades ↗

From apprentice electrician to Regional Account Executive.

I joined RAMS on May 18, 2015 as an apprentice electrician. Over more than a decade, my responsibilities expanded from the trade itself into field operations, recruiting, workforce development, account management, and regional business development.

The progression matters to me because I have experienced the industry from multiple sides: as a tradesperson beginning a career, as someone helping other people enter the trades, and as an executive developing the contractor relationships that create workforce opportunities.

Apprentice Electrician

Joined RAMS in the electrical trade and entered a four-year apprenticeship path. I completed Florida Electrical Apprentice Training through FEAT while gaining practical field experience on construction projects.

Field Service Representative

Moved from the field into recruiting, safety, workforce support, job-site operations, and business-development scouting. Having completed the apprenticeship path myself, I also helped identify candidates for electrical training and apprenticeship opportunities.

April 2022

Account Executive

Expanded into contractor acquisition, account growth, relationship management, recruiting, staffing, and safety across the Orlando-area market.

December 2023

Regional Account Executive

Advanced into regional business development across the Orlando and Daytona markets, serving contractor relationships across Orange, Osceola, Lake, Brevard, Seminole, Volusia, Flagler, and Indian River counties.

What the Role Became

Business development with an operator's perspective.

01

Contractor Relationships

Developing, maintaining, and reactivating relationships across the skilled-trades construction market.

02

Workforce Development

Recruiting, evaluating, and helping connect skilled workers with career and project opportunities.

03

Operations & Safety

Field visits, communication, safety awareness, issue resolution, and the operational discipline required to support customers and employees.

04

Regional Growth

Supporting the Orlando and Daytona markets while expanding contractor relationships across a broad Central Florida territory.

Continuity by Choice

Long-term relationships still matter to me.

I have chosen to continue growing professionally within a company that played an important role in my development while also building independently.

That continuity has given me something I value: the ability to build long-term relationships, see systems over time, learn from established operations, and carry those lessons into the way I structure my own companies.

As Benchmark Labor developed, my regional account responsibilities also expanded to support its Orlando and Daytona operations.

One Chapter of a Larger Story

The career helped shape the operator. The ventures show what I built with those lessons.
